Myairshoes.com, Visvim Skagway new release website |

Visvim has just released their new sneaker, the Visvim Skagway. This Skagway is a classic, simple, uncluttered design sneaker. It is actually created from an inspiration from Converse sneakers’ Chuck Taylor. The Skagway is cut like a boot. The entire shoe upper is made from premium leather. This leather is treated to be white in color. The only band of color is at the back; at the heel area. This colored band can be black, navy, red and brown. These colors (except the red) are rather dark and from the picture, they all look similar to black. ![]() I like these sneakers because of the all white shoe colorway on the upper. This means ease of coordination when I dress up using these Skagway shoes. Some people might think that they look ugly but I think they look great even while worn with dresses. The dress needs a plain shoe/boot and the Skagway fits the requirement. The white shoes allow the use of colorful or patterned clothes as the white does not distract the coordination of the attire. White is a classy color and the leather makes maintenance slightly easier. I would use a small dab of colorless shoe polish and rub over the shoe upper to protect the shoes. These shoes are sold at Reinforce. Source Myairshoes.com website |

In honor of their 100th anniversary, Converse is scheduled to release 100 different pairs of their signature shoes between December 2007 and March 2008. Yes - 100! ![]() These releases will be specially marked in a 100th anniversary blue box. Some styles will date back to their debut model in 1922 and continue to more recent editions. Here is a sampling of what to expect from the Converse 100th Anniversary Collection in December. My favorites are the red, white and blue patchwork version. Source Myairshoes.com website |

Myairshoes.com, Clean and Simple Custom Nikes website |
|
|
The customs artists Pats83 created some clean, simple Nikes for the enjoyment of everyone on the Internet. These low top Nikes feature a gray/black colorway laid out in a leaf pattern underneath the gray swoosh. I like the use of gray instead of a flashy color considering the natural black/white colorway of these Nikes. There are green symbols added to the outside part of the toe box on each shoe as a brand of quality. ![]() Having reviewed dozens of custom sneakers on these virtual pages, I must say these are the customs I would most likely invest in and wear on a regular basis. They lack the novelty that keeps me from buying more outlandish customs and maintain the quality of Nike’s original design. These customs should act as a template for clean production values among amateur artists everywhere. Source Myairshoes.com website |

Myairshoes.com, Puma Clyde Poison Frog Pack website |

Some poisonous tropical frogs feature bright colored skin and wild patterns to warn predators of their danger. Puma has used this same concept to create the Puma Clyde Poison Frog Pack. ![]() These shoes feature various textures of leather along with the different prints. There are three different colorways in the pack. The green/red version here is very slick with textured red fabric on the toe box, heel and around the red laces. The main body of the shoe features a sea green with black spotted pattern. Also in the back is green/black colorway, which features a bright green and black frog skin pattern and bright yellow laces. These shoes are my favorite in the pack and have plenty of wild style. The last colorway features more muted tones of various blues, including a navy toe box/heel, along with a dull aqua spotted body. These shoes will be out soon at French store Appartement 16.
